/ 5 steps completed

Step 1

The area in which the discrimination occurred

For example, the discrimination occurred in connection with the choice of a job or profession, including through the placement of job advertisements or through access criteria to a professional organisation that exclude or favour certain persons. It may also appear in the professional activity itself, for example through unequal pay, harassment, refusal of reasonable accommodation, unfair distribution of tasks, limitation of promotion, or even the suspension, modification or termination of the employment relationship. Discrimination may also occur in vocational training, for example through refusal of admission to qualification courses.

For example, the discrimination occurred in connection with access to education, including through limiting access to institutions of any type and level or by setting conditions that exclude or favour certain persons. It may also appear in the educational process itself, by limiting or undermining equality in the assessment of knowledge or in participation in educational activities. Discrimination may also manifest through harassment, racial segregation, or refusal to adapt the study process to individual needs. In addition, discrimination in education covers actions concerning scientific and teaching activity.

For example, discrimination may occur in relation to services provided by public authorities, or to the way they are delivered.

For example, discrimination may occur in connection with access to medical services and other health-related services, or with their quality.

For example, the discrimination occurred in connection with access to social protection services or their provision.

For example, the discrimination occurred in connection with access to banking and financial services (loans, accounts, insurance, etc.).

For example, discrimination may occur in connection with access to transport services or their use, including when accessibility for persons with disabilities is not ensured.

For example, the discrimination occurred in connection with access to cultural and leisure services (events, cultural institutions, sport, entertainment).

For example, the discrimination occurred through the refusal to sell or rent movable, immovable or other publicly available goods, or through conditions applied differently.

Choose this option if the situation does not fit any of the categories above, involves several fields, or you are simply not sure which option to choose.
